2013 Ranger Z520c panel button lights

Hello all. I have a 2013 Z520c and I was wondering if there is a way to dim the button lights on the front panel when the nav lights arent on? When I am night fishing I dont have my nav lights on, but running the aerator keeps two buttons lit up on my panel at the front. Sounds petty, but it actually does get annoying and mess with my eyes to see at night. It seems the only dimming of the buttons I can find is when the nav lights are on, and I dont want to leave my nav or anchor light on while I fish, nor leave the nav light button on and unscrew the anchor light everytime I stop to fish. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Tape over light. If you want no light use black tape, if you want some light use clear tape than draw over with a marker. Use more coats of ink to further reduce brightness.
