I just had my 3.1 ox66 replaced with a reman. Core was no good. It was 7K out the door with a one year warranty.

Core is still good. Just debating on a new powerhead or new sho. Dont know if I want to sink 18k in an 03 champion.

I was in the same situation, but decided on the reman OX66. I can work on the OX66. Didn't think I could do much on the SHO. Around here anytime you have to take anything in to a shop it is weeks/months of down time.

Yep, I would call or email Hydro Tech and while they are doing it you might as well get a Phase Kit installed.

The cost for a rebuild is about 5k. Call chris carson. He was a great help on mine.
