Saw a pretty Lund 1875 Bass yesterday

It was an all black Boat w/gray carpet on a black trailer
pulling it w/a black Ford truck. He was here from Iowa
fishing KY Lake. It had a 200 Verado. He said it would
run 63. It didn't have a JP. This is the first one I've seen
    other than showroom models. LDS

They are premium boats, excellent layout and high quality. I have a local dealer so I have checked them out a few times. Unfortunately I can't spend that much coin. They get pricey quick.

I just finished a job in Grenada Mississippi and was staying at a RV park at Grenada lake and saw several Lund’s there . That’s something this south Louisiana boy doesn’t see every day .

    It's all good !

They've been out 3 years now I believe and I have yet to see one in person. There is a Lund dealer within an hour.5 but they do not stock any 1875's. Anyhow, I have my heart set on my "forever boat" but I would love to actually see one(and hopefully ride in one) before I order it. I even spend around 4 weeks in Canada over the course of a normal year and haven't seen one there or on the roads either. Guess you have to live Up North or just get lucky like Rusty and Scott.

Please phone some other PA Lund dealers and see if they have any on hand.

There are Lund dealers in my area. 2hrs to the west, 3hrs NW and 3.5 hrs E.
Although I have seen them on the showroom floor, this is the first one in tha wild.
    I talked a few min w/the owner.
These boats would not look as big, if it was possible to lower the hull down
between the trailer fenders. I have been told according to DOT Regs that cant
    be done.LDS

Can you elaborate on what DOT said. Because every bass style boat I’ve owned. Weather it was aluminum or glass all set down inside the fender wells.

According to the trailer builders, following DOT guidelines, the width of the current 1875 trailer is
at near max. To put the hull down inside the fenders would be over legal width.
Lowering the hull would do so much for the appearance of the rig. LDS

DOT allows 102 " overall width.
This boat was designed off our already existing big water, Pro V hull. The idea was to get good handling in big (wavy) water, but in a Bass boat format. The boat has the necessary deep V for better ride and safety plus wide chines for stability.
Take a look at the picture attached. As you can see the V is deep. The boat really could not sit much lower even it were narrower.

-- But it isn't narrow. The chine width is wider than most @ 81.5 " and the side height (freeboard) is more straight up and down than most reaching 96" at the beam.

I bought mine at 68. Retired, working P/T in the winter months. Have a lake cottage that will be paid for next year. No regrets. You only live once. They can fight over it when I die whenever.

My 1875 with a 200 verado is loaded and I have about 55 in it. Should be able to get one in the mid 40’s pretty easy I would think.

I got a quote with a 150 4-stroke late winter past, with basics like charger, trailer, tilt/power, cover, ultrex and a couple other items for about 38K. Don't know how much that has changed at this point but it isn't as high as the pricing on Lund's Build a Boat.

This boats sidewall is only 1" deeper than my TV18, but due to it sitting
so high on the trailer, it looks enormous. LDS
