I bought a Solix 12 and mounted the transducer on the skid plate under the jack plate, has anyone else got a transducer mounted there and is it a good location, thanks.

I mounted mine on the side of the jack plate. Works great

My structure ducer's on the skid plate but the TM-150's on the transom where can read bottom at speed!
Both work well!
