Anyone been here recently? I haven’t been in years thinking of making a trip down

I used to fish there in the mid 90’s when I lived in Maysville. Last time I fished there was two years ago during duck season. We were musky fishing.

Probably fishes better now than it did many years ago. KDFWR has placed a lot of attractors around the lake over the last 2 years.

me an a buddy are wanting to fish the lake for a few days could someone tell me is there areas i need to watch for that will damage my boat as i have never been there thanks

Stay out the river and get a map. Leatherwood and long bow area are also caution areas but are marked with bouys fairly well. The area in front of the Zilpo beach is very shallow, you’ll have to swing wide but it’s marked too. With the exception of the zilpo flats the main lake is easy to navigate.
