    She Had A Good Day

    Some of y'all already know this but about 12 days ago the wife broke her old personal best with a 9.4# Took her back out this morning and she caught a couple more good ones. Here's some pics of here 9.4 and a couple of pics from this morning. She likes drowning a senko.

    What a fish! That sucker looks way bigger than 9.4
    Maybe because I only catch em less than 1/3 of that size.

    Congratulations to your wife!

    A guide, down in Rockport, TX, told us a story some 25 years ago. He said that when he took couples out fishing, often the woman would catch more than the men. I asked "why?" and he said....woman don't fiddle with the rod/reel all of the time. They toss the bait/lure out, let it sit and do its job, and WAIT. The men are winding and cranking all or the time and must move the bait past the fish a dozen times every outing.

    He may or may not have been accurate....but...how many times have we put a rod down to do something, and find a fish on it when we pick it up? Ha Ha rich
