    Mercury racing hub help

Quick question that I was unable to find on Google or in the forums. I have a 1.25" racing hub (840237-c on the part). There are 4 weights on the hub kit and one of them has fallen off. It looks like they are glued in place with an epoxy. I'm assuming I can just degrease, clean, and re-epoxy back on but wanted to double check with the experts first?

    TIA

    Chris

You can reattach them. Use something that will take a lot of heat though!

They are not weights... They are rubber snubber strips. They can be put back on with high temp rtv silicone. New ones can be bought here>>> http://reynoldsracingmarine.com/probsolv.htm

Or the new style HD hub.
