Only ONE bite, but it was a 17 inch Smallmouth on Watts Bar

Probably nothing special for you guys, but I haven't caught a smallie in 19 years (up North, on that one). I was surprised when I found it on a sandy bottom and it hit a wacky rigged worm. A lot different than the rocky area smallies that I remember. I thought I had a big catfish on, or the largest LM bass I ever caught! When it didn't come up, and I caught a glimpse of it after it dove under the boat twice, I was a very happy, and excited, old guy. rich
