    2004 Mercury 115 4 stroke

    2004 Mercury 115 4 stroke

motor will not hardly go even with the throttle all the way down. it starts up and idles fine. just when you put it in gear it acts like it is not getting fuel. it has always ran fine with no problems and always use non ethanol gas . I realize this is not a lot to go on but any areas you can point me to? thank you.

Now that sounds like a failed prop hub... if the RPM's are jumping to 7000, it's not "bogging".
