    Mark Twain

    I guess nobody fished Mark Twain this weekend.
    Sure would like to know what anyone did fishing it this past weekend.
    And any tipps
    I will be putting in this week at 107 bridge.

    I was there Saturday......... bad storms messed up the early morning fishing, but after was just OK.
    It appears as a lot of the bass have spawned out. Didn't have much luck finding post-spawn fish that would bite.
    Topwaters, crank baits and texas rigged worms will all produce.
    I have nothing on the crappie, although their spawn appears to be over as well.

    took 17 lbs to win a tourney on Saturday and over 20 to win on sunday.
    Club tourney on Saturday had several guys catching 50-70 fish. I thought they were pulling my leg until I got out there Sunday for Joe Bass. Had our limit by 9:30.
    We caught 40-50 fish on sunday and that was the report I got from most everyone.

    As mentioned.....buzz baits and crankbaits. I was using a 7-9 foot crank and pretty much filed the bill off of it from dragging it thru the rocks
