Fuel gauge went to E yesterday. I know it's full. Is this an easy fix? Or do I need to run it in?

Fuel gauge went to E yesterday. I know it's full. Is this an easy fix? Or do I need to run it in?

Check all wiring first. May be an easy fix. Start behind the gauge and follow wires under console. A plug may have disconnected. Happened to me. Also check sender wires.
