Garmin 93sv transducer location

I didn't want to hijack Okies thread so I will ask the ? in a different way. Have any of you had any trouble mounting your transducer on the bottom of the holeshot plate or side of your jp as far as obstructions or shadows on the screen? And which way would be the best if using a Transducer shield or wedge if using the bottom of the holeshot plate? I want to mount a Garmin 93sv transducer on a 10"Bobs hydraulic jp. Thanks..

I am waiting for my transducer shield which will allow for a port side of jack plate application I'll let you know how it works out. I'll probably get it early this week but wont get to try it until next week.
