Today was a lot of fun. Caught a ton of fish. Several big ones too but not over 24". So far an 11lb plus is winning and 17 fish over 24" weighed. Taking almost a 2 1/2 lb under to even get an hourly check. 2500-2700 entries is what they are saying.

Twenty Five fish weighed over 24"...........The lake is back!
Skeeter runs a great event with BassChamps handling weigh-in chores.
The weigh in staff was extra busy this year for sure

I hate to say it but that WAS my boat. Tied up on all four corners, but the waves swamped the boat slip and it was ripped out of the boat cleats. Being fixed right now and traded off for a new boat. The storm came up to max winds in 3 minutes. It was brutal, sheriff told me there were many boats that "got away"

I sure hate that for you. I was there during the storm also and it was brutal. luckily we pulled out about 3pm that day and loaded boat. We were driving around when the storm hit and just so happens we were coming across the bridge by the minnow bucket and seen a boat coming under the bridge. I told my buddy "I hope this guy isnt fixing to try and load boat at the public launch but sure enough thats what he done. I offered to help him get his truck and trailer over to minnow bucket and load there but he refused. in the end he did get it on the trailer but boat was swamped by the time he got it loaded. thinking back i still dont know how the heck he made it on the trailer.

well, I upgraded to an FX20LE Oxblood color and putting a raised carbon 12" the bow plate as well as the one on the console. The 250 SHO ought to run it pretty good. It will still take about 3 weeks before I have the boat in my garage and able to play with it.
