    Bravo xs vent holes

Got a 21xrs 250 xsb 28 bravo vs 8 vent holes. Had a 28 bravo 4 hole. The 4 hole required no plugs. I started the 8 hole with 4open closest to motor.2 solid on outer holes.Blowes out bad coming out of hole. Any ideas on which way to go?

You plug holes closest to motor first. I have 3 solid plugs in mine.

I'm guessing you have a gen2 TM? Start plugging farthest from the gearcase first! A foil also really helped mine.

So if you have too many plugged, would it be real sluggish out of the hole? I have zero blowout on my 27 Bravo, but its super slow out of the hole. I think i have too many plugged. 4 solid and two small hole plugs.

Yes you can try pulling the two small holes out and see if that help. If it needs more move those two small holes to ones that are plugged completely.

I changed to this combo, it was a big improvement. 22SF w/250XS 27 Bravo XS. Two small hole plugs close to case. Two solid plugs on outside in opposite positions. Seems perfect out of the hole now. I havent tried to run a 28 or anything larger than a 27 on this rig. It will get close to limiter, but i aint all about max top end these days anyway. Running about 82 loaded with one person and 3/4 tank gas.

I just went to a boat shop and got a bag of each- solid, small, medium and large. I started with 2 solid, 2 open- too much blowout so then installed one small, still too much one more small, not enough then went medium in a small hole and it was perfect. The bags come with 5ea and pulling them out ruins them unless you pull the prop and push them out from the inside. I guess you could be more careful but i just pried them out with a screwdriver. Should be @$38 for all 4 plugs, bag of 5ea. They have them on ebay but watch the qty and shipping real close

Alot has to do with driver input. I've got 8 and they're all open - 21XRS / 250 ProXS / Gen 2 TM / 28P Bravo I Lab. It comes out of the hole like a scalded dog! Just need to learn how to feather it in. As it starts to break over I'm already triming up.
