Bacon Candy ?
I made bacon candy today, thickcut with brown sugar, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and chile powder. I baked it at 375 for 20 minutes. It tasted very good, but wasn’t as crisp as I would like. How do I get it crisper without burning the brown sugar?

Maybe cook the bacon a while first. Take out let cool. Then add your brown sugar and throw back In the oven. Not sure if this will work, but that’s what I’d try.
Sort of the same principal of when they double fry French fries to get them extra crunchy.

I do something similar but I cook on a smoker.
Mine doesn't get crispy either but I kinda prefer it. Soo much sugar its almost chewy
