While out fishing today, every mow and then , I would get a panoptics transducer not connected message on the screen. Sometimes it would happen when I was on the trolling motor and other times while just fishing.
any thoughts as to why this is happening?
could it be in need of a software update?

Are you using the two piece plastic screw thingy to hole the cable to the unit/cradle?
Yes I am using the 2 piece collar
