2009 201 XL vs 2009 201 evo

I’m looking to purchase 2009 201 XL but I can’t fin any info on this boat. All I can find is evo information for this year model. Can anybody help? I know the difference between the two boats just can’t find any info on the XL.

I would think it would just be a bling level thing. I would not think that the running surfaces of those 201s are different. If you like the 201XL just get it and enjoy. I have a 195 ProXL and love it!

I don't know if the hulls are the same but I do know the top cap is different and so is the storage.

I have a 201 XLE, I thought that was the only 201 made that year

Me to. I thought in 2009 they was only Evo hull in the 201 and 294 hulls.

That’s what I thought. When I found the boat I assumed it was an evo. When I went to NADA it I found where they made it in a 201 XL single and dual console, and the EVO.

I have a 201 pro xl (2007) and my partner just got his new 201 Evo. He has had 3 294s and a 201 xl since 2009. Only difference I can see in the Evo is the middle storage compartment, day box in front of the console and dash layout of the front and console.

The Evo i thought , suppose to have a difference hull . The pad is smaller and a faster boat . They got a lot of the ASX boat in it ?

Now i do remember 2009 was the first year for them 201 XL Evo hull 's

Buddy has 09 evo 201 and is a nice smooth ride.
Whether you get a 201 evo or a 201 pro. You will love either one. I have a 05 201 pro xl and unless something happened, I'm keeping mine. One of the best hulls and platform that stratos made.
