    Ford V10 Forest River Lexington 255DS

    I just bought a forest river lexington 255ds , ford v10 the problem I am having is while driving it , when you go up a hill or accelerate the air conditioner kicks out , quits blowing cold air , but when you get up the hill or off the gas it will come back on and cool great, just like to know whats going on . Any help would be appreciated.

    The Econoline a/c unit and many others kick off the compressors at full throttle. It is not a major issue on regular vans, however your Class C is heavy and requires full throttle more often to maintain speed going up bills and/or accelerating. I don't know if the point the compressor kicks out is adjustable. You might want to talk to a good auto a/c shop or your dealer's service.department.
