    pickwick

I'm gonna be bass fishing Pickwick from June 26th- 29th with a buddy of mine mostly early morning. Never been on the lake. I know the bass will be deep by then. Any suggestions on what we should throw?

Also we are going to be staying in Florence Alabama any suggestions on places to eat? (seafood, steaks, ext.)

    Thanks in advance!

Downtown Florence has a number of good restaurants on Court Street. One block over is Legends, and it is an excellent place to eat that's not expensive. On the north end of Court Street is Flobama and Rosie's Cantina across the street.

Most of the restaurants out near the mall are the popular franchises.

Need to throw big worms, swimbaits and football jigs. Those will be your best producers. Get you some Johnston Lures brand of baits. They are good producers on Pickwick Lake. They can be found at Perkins Outdoors in Florence, Gray's tackle in Sheffield and Shoals Outdoor Sports in Tuscumbia.

You gotta go check out Cajun's seafood buffet! Get the grilled oysters, you won't regret it! River Bottom Grill is great too!
