    Boat Carpet Cleaning Method

Be on plane, have light fog and heavy mist with a light chop on the water. Have big cruisers on plane all the way across the river while you are heading in. Spear two waves in your Puma. Get home, shopvac out a 3-4 gallons of water.

Goodness, if only the weather was better on Memorial day. You would have been swamped.

Actually the weather wasn't bad, just misty, not rain. Fish were biting.....

I use my water wash down pump and hose mine off before I come in. Bone dry at load up and looks like it never happened. A little less traumatic that Ron's method.

Worst part was the color of the water that came out of the carpet....main channel water couldn't be described as crystal clear by any stretch! And Mike, my method ain't so bad when wearing shorts and flip flops....

It happens. I got one good last year coming out of Pohick into the main river. Felt rather refreshing as it was in the middle of August and burning hot. Bilge pumps got a good work out that day hahaha
