    Question NEKO Weight ???

    Anybody making these NEKO weights? Where do I find the mold for them??

    i started making something similar with a round head jig mold with out the collar and use a piece of wire thats bent so far so good Pokie PM me a number and i can send you a picture

    i imagine you could snip off a shakey head hook and just use the head and keeper - with glue.

    I just get cheap jigheads (like the Eagle Claw ones at Walmart) and straighten out the hook and clip off the line tie. Just don't flatten the barb. Those hooks straighten pretty easy if you go slow with some pliers.

    UPDATE..... I found a way to make them "CHEAP" I have lots of hitchhiker screw locks and lots of
    split shots. I just clamp the split shot on to the hook end of the hitchhiker and I have it.
    So far they work fantastic and they do not fly out like the NEKO weights on the fight. Hope this helps others.

    Pouring this mold w/o a hook would be perfect.

    Or this one w/o a screw lok and hook.

    here are the pics, the last pic is a shakey mold without a hook.. that's the one I started with but I like the new style better..

    Another choice I would consider is this mold slightly modified for the WDB1000 wire keeper form.

    if your planning on buying a mold to modify, I would buy the one shown above of the jig with a wire keeper.. it will be a lot easier to make work..
