little help looking for something for my boat?

I'm looking for a clear protective sheet or tape that I can place on the top cap where I usually rest my foot while fishing anyone have any leads about 12" by 4 "would work for size??

Check out clear Mylar tape. They sell it in large sheets you can trim to the needed size. I used it on my boat for the same thing. Tough as nails and you cant hardly tell there.

Permanent or temporary. Paint department at HD sells a clear sheet the size of typing paper that you statically attach to a wall to sample colors.

You could get a small piece of lexan there also and attach it with some gummy glue that Walmart/ staples sell. Glue comes in a roll and you apply it in dabs and peel it off when your done needing it. Residue free.

You can get a Scotchguard 4" X 72" paint protection clear film strip for around $25.00 on ebay and most likely on amazon. You can also buy smaller pieces cheaper and it does work good.

Maybe clear plasti dip. If it starts to wear peel it off and reapply.
