1990 374V Ranger Still kickin' bass after all these years
15 years, MK 101.
Still use it, new shaft, some new parts still works
3 years 1 month on my last Ultrex. It locked up solid. Spent $250 on parts and could get it going. Neither could the dealership. 1 month out of warranty.
I have a 6-12 volt Plueger trolling motor from the late 60s that still works. One of the quietest motors I ever used.
MG Digital Tour 82 going strong since 2002.

With the exception of last year, I'd disagree with part. We don't have grass beds here, or stumps. When they clear out for a reservoir, they clear EVERYTHING, including grinding down stumps. It's crazy. But we have a LOT of rock, shale, etc. and yes, boat wake will push you into chunk rock banks so you will go through props.
For what its worth, I'm on my 4th year now on mine. Not sure how old it was when I got the boat. I do think it's probably getting worn a bit.

from 1997 until last year Maxxum 74, I gave it away still working, added an 80lb thrust, and I am electric only so this thing got ran 8 hours a day and at least 3 days a week, replaced the cable 1 time when someone borrowed my boat and snapped the cable,
"Remember You Only live Once"
I had a Maxxum 74 from 99 until 2008 and now have a maxxum pro 80 that came on my boat in 08. Both motors have never needed anything beyond props and pins and other wear items like bushings on the mount. I fish a combo of electric only and lakes where i can use the gas. I also tend to fish lakes that are heavy with boat traffic and wind so im on the motor a lot.
Getting ready to start year 21 with my Motorguide.
