2011 zx 200 hydraulic jack plate setting

I just had an atlas 10 inch hydraulic jack plate installed and hope to get out over the next couple of days to see how it will perform.

Any suggestions on a number (digital gauge) to start at as far as the blast off and what the range could be? Example 7-14?

I understand every boat is different and a lot of different factors affect performance.

Don't use that as your measurement tool. Figure out Prop 2 pad and start with that. I would start with 3.5" and move up from there. What prop do you have? Do you have dual power poles, 3 or 4 batteries?
