    Followed Me Home......

Had an awesome Big O back in 2013. Sold it to work on a project. The project never came to fruition so I bought a production boat. Wasn’t happy with the production boat and really missed my Big O. With that said, Terry over at Big O Boats made me a happy owner again. Big O Elite X ........

I always liked those boats. I wish they were a wider beam. Hey would be perfect then.

    That is sweet...congrats!

Why do a lot of FL guys use hand controlled trolling motors? Just curious....

I’ve fished out of “wider” boats. This one is far more roomy than it’s beam. Narrow gunnels and full walk around. I had a 96” wide production brand boat and this boat fishes much roomier.

As far as the trolling motor, it’s a heavy grass thing. No cables to break and it’s not a production troller. It’s my “frankenmotor” built by Master Repair in Stuart. I’m sure foot control motors are better now but I’m used to hand control at this point. Terry makes a lid for the front storage box that is recessed for anyone who wants a foot control.

Don't ever have to worry about breaking cables in thick grass/vegetation, and I would bet it might see brackish/salt ocassionally.

Dude......that's a sharp rig, I love my Bas Cat Puma, but that would be great where I live so close to salt water.

Hit reverse and the grass is gone. No lifting to remove.
