    Mercury 200 EFI

My shifter (quick silver 3000) was intermittently stopping after going into forward and reverse. I disconnected the cables and it seems fine, what I think is there is a possible syncing issue in the lower unit. Do to this being a intermittent issue it is hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated. I have called dealers and due to the long wait I am desperate due to tournament schedule

Very high probability that the problem is in the CONTROL.
