I would go with a 8 footer, ORIGINAL HAMBY'S HEAVY DUTY BEACHING BUMPER. Has to be dealer installed.

Start it just behind the first strake below the bow eye.

It will go onto the flatter part of the Gambler hull where the most protection is needed when beaching the boat.

Use Ultra RTV sealant at the gap of the 2nd strake.

EXTRA STRAPS, SOME FORM OF A WOOD V BLOCK, AND A FLOOR JACK WILL BE NEEDED TO INSTALL PROPERLY!

MAKE SURE IT IS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT WHERE IT GOES ONTO THE FLATTER PART OF THE HULL!!!
It will be out of the water most of the time when running on pad, but in full down trim it could cause bow steer if not straight.

3 Gamblers of mine I had them installed.

I need to get one installed on my Sterling!

My first Hamby's lasted 17 years. Just had a new one installed earlier this spring.
