    Electric or gas stove top?

Just as the title says, electric or gas? Leaning towards gas because I like cooking with cast iron but not sure if I would like one as a full time stove.

We got a electric induction range. It was a little more expensive than a plain range, but it changes temps and heats fast like a gas stove.

Our house was all electric when we bought it but the gas available so we went with a gas range after a few years. I do most of the cooking now that I am retired and the controllability of the temp. is much better than the electric.

I have a gas cook top with a electric convection oven. Best of both worlds. Grew up around electric cook tops and hated them. CJ

New lake house has a smooth top electric , that means I don't have to bother with getting gas tank filled . We don't cook enough inside to matter anyway .
