Remote Drain plug on Z-20 or Z-21

Anyone installed one of these on a Z20 or Z21? Curious if it will fit the factory plug once remoted without having to make modifications

It will not fit properly on my 2017 Z21, factory plug is much bigger than the remote drain plug.

I put one on my Z19. The only problem was finding a location for the control. Kind of scary drilling an 1 3/4 hole but it works great. The old plug came out easily and the new one was a perfect fit. I made sure the cable could be routed out of the way and without any binds when I selected the location for the control. I put it next to the battery charger hook up which is on the passenger side in my boat. Someone above says it would not fit his Z21 so not sure this will help you.

Ha, felt same way Bryan until I watched a couple guys use them and was sold not having to climb under my talon brackets and risk bustin my head again

@Bison- was it obviously too small just looking at it or did you have to pull out the old plug to figured out it wouldn't work. Figure worst case I can order then return but thinking the 21 and 20 plugs are same sis

Took, existing plug off and tried it. Either need glass work or sealant to fill. Glass too expensive and not filling with sealant. Had a boat shop look at it also when I took it in for Talon install and they refused to install for the same reasons. Maybe one day they will make a bigger plug to fit the TH Marine one my Nitro came with.

Also you don't need to mount the control in the glass you can put it in the battery compartment on a L bracket
