    Non Mega/Mega transducer comparability??

    I have two Helix 10’s at my console, number one is SI, number two is GPS that I use for 2d as well, all three graphs are networked and two at console have been sharing a tranducer. Just replaced SI with a MEGA.. Can’t get sonar to work or to share waypoints (GPS works) on non MEGA (2nd unit). Is that a setting issue or will the non mega sonar not work with the MEGA tranducer?? Hope I explained that well enough to get some input!! Thanks in advance! Warren

    Make sure all units have the latest software. If the non mega units are gen1 you will have to turn off chirp and you will not be able to share mega frequencies to them. Bit you can network the 455,800 and 83,200 if chirp is turned off

    seems like I read the latest update changed the Chirp issue - I chatted with humminbird and they said you can share chirp now to a non chirp unit. I have not tried yet.
