    Trolling Batteries

I have an 80lb 24v MinnKota Maxxum on the front of my 618 and its time to get some new trolling batteries. Its a '15 and the original batteries are on their way out. Any recommendations for 2 solid batteries to put on my bird? **not interested in lithiums**

We have been running three boats with Exide Marine Deep Cycle batteries the past two season with no issues and great power

if I were running a 24 volt system I would run a pair of x2 power 31s or if not looking to spend that much the Duracell has proved to be a reliable battery, there is a batteries plus in Cary and Fayettville

I have run three Duracell lead Group 31s for my 112 Ultrex for a year plus and have never run out of juice. This is 90% offshore spotlock and it seems the wind is always blowing when it's tourney time. $94 each at Sam's. I also run their AGM for a starting battery and am happy with it as well. Under $200 out the door.

Only question unanswered for me is longevity, but so far they are impressive.
