Everything comes out and all the Yammie stuff goes in.

So the oil tank goes in, are the steering cables different? What else. Im looking into the motor and oil tank

You'll need new controls, ignition switch if it doesn't come with your controls, tach (maybe you have a universal tach) and power cable from battery to engine... You should be able to be switched the steering cables. Depending how old they are you may want to replace them also it you have the funds available, or better yet go hydraulic... Dan

Steering cables stay, throttle and shift cables along with control box gets replaced along with wiring harness and trim gauge (possibly) Merc oil tank comes out and yammie tank in. You'll probably want to go with the Yammaha multi function gauge.
