No different than all those offshore F250's trolling all day long racking up hundreds of hours a year.

Run it hard after a long troll/idle.

I havent trolled with mine but I wouldn't hesitate if I wanted to. I believe this is a greatly exaggerated issue if the motor has properly seated rings. Have lots of idle hours on mine, no wake zones, 25 mph speed limit, hours using the graph. Mine made a little oil to 10 hrs. Rarely run WOT. Love this engine.

I made a good bit of oil through 40 hours. It has slowed and is no longer noticeable.

But I have read some saltwater threads where it stops making oil then starts again. One guy had it start again at 80hrs. Of course this is hearsay but I believe it's possible.

Burned a lot of extra gas getting my rings seated. It was not an easy task.
