    My first nick/chip

Must have hit a floater this weekend. Did not hear anything but i did see floaters around as i wasn’t running. It’s about the size of a pencil eraser, and not on a leading edge/corner. Almost but. Not n corner. Any ideas/suggestions? I am thinking it’s about 300$ if I take it to a professional, a little more then my deductible so not worth to claim.

Order yourself some black gel coat and mix up a small amount. Dab a little on the spot and go fishing the next day. Total cost of repair is $40.00..... and you will have some gel coat left over for the next chip......

Evercoat gel coat repair kit. Easy, easy to do and if you sand and buff it in you won't ever know it was there

Thanks for the tip kry29. Looked it up and liked it better then marine tex. Being it’s straight black it should be easy.
