I am currently using a 5:1.1 ration Curado D model for xd10. What ratio are you guys using and why?

I've been throwing them on an old Citica 201G with a 6.5:1 ratio because that's what I had laying around and figure I'll use it til it blows up. I know everyone says you need a heavy duty, slow gear ratio reel and all that, but I can't kill it! I suppose I might be a little more sore at the end of the day for it.

I use a 5.1:1 Daiwa Luna. I can chuck this one for about an hour before I have to set it aside. If I bump up to a 5.5:1 Tatuta CT P and I'm not chucking for much more than 15-20 mins at a time. But I like the Tatula CT P for 6XDs and 8XDs.

I just wish I got more fish for the time I spend chucking these big crankbaits. I hook into just enough to keep me interested.....
