Gauge lights on 2001 Mean 16 with Mercury motor

Just started looking at this and I am surprised there is no panel switch for the gauge lights on this boat. Are they supposed to come on when the ignition key is switched. Or maybe when the nav lights are powered on? I don't remember how my 201 was set up but it did have a panel switch - though that might have just illuminated the panel lights only and not the gauges.

I went in for one but the doc just looked at me and said I didn't need one, he said "just looking at you I can tell you're a perfect A$$hole"!

Exactly ... don't get any better

Some of the best time on the water have been with Fred. Just too much distance between us.

I just wish I could get together with you all. So glad I was able to meet and fish with Fred (and hope to again!), but dang it, Reggie...you are just too far away!

Actually wish I could meet and fish with all our great members here in the Champ forum....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
