Lowrance Yamaha Interface Cable to HPDI

Has anyone installed the Lowrance Interface cable to an older (03') 250 HPDI? The package states that it fits all V & VZ models, but my connector on the engine is a 3 prong and the Lowrance cable is a 4 prong.

Do the connectors plug in? Maybe the 4th prong on the cable isn't used?

Motor needs to be a late 2005 or later model. The '03 HPDI does not have the wire harness nor the ECU to provide engine data to an NMEA 2000 device.

Some VX225TXRD's were known to have NMEA 2000 capability. What is your serial number? What is the ECU number? Did you inspect the front of the engine pan for the presence of a refrigerator white four pin connector (with cap) that has only two wires connected to it? Blue wire and white wire.

i had a 2005 hpdi 300 that worked with the Lowrance interface

the 2006 and newer will give more info

and if you want to get creative you can change ecu and wiring harness to the 32bit ecu. You have a 16 bit now.
Wayne at hydro tec can get what you need. Very easy job

I have a 2008 Champion 210 with a Mega Link system and a 2008 250 HPDI. I connected the NEMA 2000 to my Lowrance HDS 10 from the motor and I'm not getting my fuel level, motor temperature, and the water pressure. Can anyone insight on why I'm not receiving this data?

Engine temp should be there. Fuel level and water pressure require separate sensors that you can add.
