    Ranger 354v prop

I've got the itch to tinker with prop selection.
    1989 ranger 354v
    1995 mercury xri 150
    6" rite Hite jack plate.
    25p trophy prop.
55mph top speed, forget tpms at the moment.

Anything I can do prop wise to squeeze some more top speed out of her?

Curious why do you say that about the plate?

I read they are prone to failure, I don't have the budget to replace it right now. Any preventative maintenence or things to watch for on it?
