    721xp or 921xp

If you was going to load both models out with options which one would you run considering the price difference, give me the difference in the two. I would order it with the new fourstroke mercury , power poles, 12” graphs and a spotlock trolling motor and hydraulic jackplate

Yeah my buddy has my 921 and set side by side the 921 wasn't worth the extra $, not much deck difference.

Interesting. I am dead set on a 21'+ boat for my next one and was thinking it would be between the 21PHX and 921 proxp. Guess I'll be looking at 721 as well. Honestly I haven't seen a 721 since they raised the deck a bit.

I've had a 721 for 5 years, fished out of my buddies 921. The biggest difference is the width at the front seat, numbers are in the sticky at the top of the page. I still want a smaller butt seat for the front. Other than that I have had a dozen rods up there, never been a problem. Runs fast, handles rough water great, and is a helluva a lot of boat.

I wanted a 921 but it wouldn't fit in the garage. I had to choose between a 920 and 721 and went with a 721 because there for dang sure isn't 4k difference between those 2 boats. Especially since they raised the deck a little on the 721

I bought mine used and will be doing the same on the next one.......so the $$ isn't an issue per say. Garage isn't either as mine is in a 32X12 storage unit.

921 is a nice boat. Rough water ride in it is really good too.

The 721 is just under 21'. The 921 and PHX 21 are both 21'6".

This was my predicament also. I went 721 for the extra length, and a little for price. I've had the wide boat that was a lot like a 920 and after getting on both with rods the 721 seemed better to me personally. Glad I went how I did although I would be happy with either.

I had a very hard time with this very same question when I ordered my 2018. I ended up going with the 721 due to it being the hull and size I wanted. What I then did is order it with everything a 9 series would have right down to the 9 series wires and then added a lot of options. When you buy a boat this expensive don't let plus or minus $5,000 determine what you buy because what ever you spend you will get a portion back when you sell or trade.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the integrated wiring upgrade?

Is there much speed difference and performance in the 721 and the 9 series? Will the 721 hold as much stuff?

Maybe 5mph but that will depend on how good one is set up. The 721 will hold anything you will ever need and I don't think the 921 holds more but the rod boxes may be a tad bigger

The 921 and 21 PHX are both 7" longer so there is more storage. On the PHX the top cap is also taller so the compartments on that model are deeper thereby further increasing compartment volume over the 921. The 721 should be 2-3 mph faster.

My friend drove both and went with the 921. He said the 721 was a handful to drive on top end or he would have bought it.

Well I just ordered a 721 this week with the new mercury fourstroke, I just couldn’t spend the extra money for the 921

I basically loaded out a 721 with a 16” graph on console and a 12” on bow and to do the same on a 921 it would have been about a 10k difference to have both boats loaded like this
