    Dual Pro Sportsman SS3

    Hello,

    I just installed a new Dual Pro SS3. When all the bank lights are green, the charger is still hot. My old Dual Pro (2004) 6 amp 2 bank charger only got hot when it was charging discharged batteries. Is it normal for the SS3 to be hot when the lights are green?

    And is hot for how long after going solid green? Big power transformers hold their generated internal heat for a while.

    Be sure battery is disconnected from any loads during charging.

    Solid green, green for over 24 hours and still hot. Wanted to know if anyone who has one, if theirs does the same thing.
