1997 Ranger R82 Sport livewells

OK folks, How do you use this livewell system. Do you leave it on fill when running? When do you use the recir function? Any advice would be appreciated

Place the levers to fill, flip the switches to manual to fill, once full flip the switches to auto, that puts it into timer mode and it will pull in fresh lake water and the excess will go out through the overflow. If you are using a livewell conditioner or ice and don't want fresh coming in and diluting the water place the levers to recirc. and it will just recirculate the water in the wells. Use recirc anytime you don't want lake water coming in to the wells such as hot stagnant water or in a Marina around the fuel pumps.
