    1989 206 fish and ski need advice

    I put a 225 EFI and a 10 inch Jack Plate on it with a full fuel tank 36 gallons empty live wells and three batteries in the back the top cap of the boat is only an inch out of the water making the waves come in and come to the scene as anybody have this problem

    No I had to learn to give it a little bump as it was setting down to keep water off the back deck. Also might try the basketball trick in your jp. If it's a manual.

    thats how gamblers sit...
    as mentioned...ease off the throttle slowly and "SET" the boat down when coming off plane...

    Thank you for your input I've tried the basketball it gave me maybe a quarter inch my problem is not coming down off a plane or throttle my problem is sitting flat in the water using the trolling motor eating little chop comes through the same and into the Hall of the boat like I said it's an inch out of the water

    If I'm standing on swim deck, it will be barley covered with water.

    My 193 with 3 batteries and half a tank(25 gallons) 12 inch jack plate with a 250xs the seam was slightly underwater. With my 209te with a 300xs on a 12 inch bobs jack plate and 4 optima d31m batteries, 25 gallons of gas and full livewells my seam is 1.5 inches above the water line.
