    Tires for a 2016 F-150

The truck came with 17-inch Michelin tires and I am looking to replace. I priced a set of Michelins and it was close to $1000. Would like to save a few bucks.

Any recommendations on a quiet street tire for the truck. I am on the road quite a bit and tow my bass boat occasionally for under 1-hour trips.

Hard to beat the Michelin's. But Coopers are ok too. Not going to save you alot of money though.

I gotta say, I’m loving my coopers. And the price was $300 less than the equivalent halfway decent tire. $500 less than Michelin’s. And rate for 65k miles. 5k in and they still look brand new. Truck handles amazing now.

Wow! We can buy 17" Michelin LTX's for under $1000, and that's in Canada.

Cooper AT3 is a great tire. I've had great luck with them.

I tried the Michelin LTX tires on my 2011 Ram and didn't like the handling of them; took them back and replaced with Bridgestone Dueler Alenzas and the difference was night and day. Have ran them on my 2013 Ram as well and considering possibly ordering a 2019 Ram and if so, I'll be putting Bridgestones on it as well.

Cooper for tire needs here. If you are burning through a set every two or three years I would put a heavy emphasis on wear rating. Maybe some of the commercial duty fleet tires would be a good choice.

Same here--6K on them and they still look like the day I put them on--great ride and very low road noise

My 2014 GMC came with Bridgestone Dueler A/T's; very good handling and traction, but only lasted 30k miles.
    I've got Michelins on now.

Michelin LTX Defenders. Period. Shop around a little. Sams has some of the best prices around here.
