    FLW Jeff Gustafson Aluminum Boat

Guess you don't need a Fancy Fiberglass Boat to fish the tour. Jeff is fishing in a Lund Aluminum Boat. He has already made close to 60k this year with a good check coming today. John Cox is another Tin Guy. Love it.

Let’s not act like this boats are $15k or anything. My 19’ xpress is over $50 once I rigged it so their 21’s are likely in the 60’s rigged

Kind of my point. Plus it looks cool on FLW Live with the big front end.

Not sure why this rif between glass and aluminum, they both have pros and cons. Heck, I sometimes fish out of my Kayak and catch fish neither could get to. Just another tool in the box.

I dont get it either. I have a 21' Glass and I am considering downsizing to an 18-19 foot Tin boat.

Look at Skylar Hamilton and Bill Lowen--Both of these fish out of Xpress boats..Here is a thing to remember also.......If you are not one of the big names that have tons of sponsor ship dollars--At the end of the year--Pulling a Tin Boat is a lot less expensive than pulling a glass boat I would imagine. I say it is about time we see some Pro's in tin boats..

Me either. Ive had both and am currently tickled $hitless with my tin boat.
I like tin, glass, wooden, plastic, or any type boat. I would not degrade anyone on their choice of boat, truck, ect.
Thats just me though but there are plenty of people who can only feel good about themselves when they are downgrading someone else. Always been that way and always will.

I've got a glass boat, a tin boat, and a plastic boat, so far this year the plastic boat has been out and outfished the other two 5:1, they all have their place no doubt

The boat someone fishes from has no practical contribution on that persons ability to catch fish. Besides the tin boats these days have everything one can need.

Wonder if it’s faster than Haynes and Lambert’s boats? Probably not or he would have won at Kentucky lake.

I don't understand the "rif" either. I have never turned my nose up to any one just because they owned a fiberglass boat. If they are happy with a fiberglass boat, who am I to judge. To each his own.
