Took delivery of an FX20. Excited for the adventures to come.
One question for anyone out there with a new Skeeter trailer: what would you recommend for attaching license plate to trailer? Looks like I will be drilling some holes...

Use the flexible plastic holder. You can usually find them at any boat dealer. I bought a metal one first time and t broke off and I lost my plate the second or third trip to the lake. They need to flex when pulling in and out of the water.

And also to add to this, use cable ties to secure plate to plate holder. Dont put cable ties on tight, let them loose so it will swing a little when pulling in and out of the water. I usually use 2 wire ties per each side. Been doing it that way for 20 years and never had a problem.
I am totally with you bgibson...been doing it also for that long or more! never lost a plate...

You could move to Oklahoma that doesn’t require boat trailer tags. Of course our roads make roads in Beruit look good!
