    Issue w Ulterra

Have the ulterra and love it except when it acts up.

It’s difficult to describe...sometimes the unit will not respond to the remote. I press a button on the remote and it just freezes like we have all experienced with our PCs at one point or another.

The only remedy is to turn the unit off and back on again. But then after a few minutes it will do it again.

I have 50 amp breaker which Ranger says should be just fine. MK service says shouldn’t be an issue especially since it has never tripped the breaker.

I have replaced both the link head and remote and it still has issues. Final step is to replace the mother board. So far minn kota has been great.

Just wondering if any one else has had a similar issue and figured it out?

My Ulterra is going on two years old now and I have never experienced what you describe. Keep working with Minn Kota as that is probably the only way to get the issue corrected.
