Cal Coast Culling Clips - 1st use ... she got out of it.

... so today was my first test of the Cal Coast clips for culling tags. - pretty 3lb 6oz girl in the live well. I snapped it on just like you'd think you would, and when I went to pull her out... the clip and ball were floating around -- not in any way attached to her.

Anyone else have experience with these? - good, bad? Is there a certain spot to clip them that works better? I love the thought of using the clips, and I HATE stressing the fish and over-handling them to get them out of the live well when there is no clip/tag.

    Thanks-

Have to clip them to the side, if you look at them there is a big tendon in the middle of the lower jaw.

I've used them once myself. Had one stay on and one fall off.

Love them, No hole, no stress, I have not had an issue at all with the new design.
