    Johns Pond Falmouth 5/18/18

Had a tourney there on Friday. Knew it was going to be bad when I walked out of the house to see the trees rocking at 4:15 AM.
Sure enough I got there to launch and the wind was blowing right at the ramp.

There was beds visible but I didn't get a single fish off a bed. Made it to the back pond first hoping to find some big largemouth back there but no dice. I ran all over the main lake trying to hit some beds but the wind was cranking out some big whitecaps.
Ended the day with a pitiful 8 lbs of largemouth out of the back cove.

If I had to go back I would probably try hitting the trees on the main lake if the weather was good. Other than that I have no friggin idea what to do there...

Probably a little early for largie beds. Wind sucks when you're sight fishing.
