    Engine Height or Prop?

I traded my 19p tempest plus for a 21p tempest plus, but the 21 was damaged at some point and reworked. here is what is happening. With the 19, I was running 52mph but hitting the rev limiter. With the 21 I am getting to 50 mph and slowly climbing, and then if I turn, or hit any sort of a wave/wake it blows out, engine hit rev limiter, and speed drops to 47mph. Is my engine too high, or was some of the grip taken out of the prop when it was reworked?

You’re a little high for that prop.
It can be worked or you can lower the motor.

Im running it with my jackplate all the way down. Is there a way to lower the jackplate itself?

*EDIT : Just looked at jack plate, it is mounted as low as it can go, and motor is mounted as low as it will go on the jackplate. Looks like I will need to send it to mark.

Would plugging the pvs holes make a difference?

No,PVS holes don’t matter at speed. It would help to know your prop to pad height but it sounds like you are way low now. It is possible that the prop shop did a poor job on your prop. A good 23 Tempest should not be blowing out like that.
