It’s official moving back to ky!

House went on the market today.Definitely bitter sweet not thrilled about moving back but that is where my daughters and grandkids are. If I knew what I know now I would have moved to Iowa 30 years ago and raised my kids here.

Why do you have to move? I could see if the family needs your help with unforseen happenings. In this day and age Iowa to Kentucky isn't all that far, a lot of people travell those distances all the time. If you are retired that is even better. I wouldn't move anywhere if i couldn't be as happy in the new place as i was in the old place unless family needed me there for anything other than just to be close by.

More for the wife we have a couple G kids and another on the way she just wants to be closer to be more involved and to do things on a regular basis with them. We moved here for my wife’s job and she has since retired.

That’s the million dollar question I have one daughter in Louisville and one in Lexington. Maybe somewhere inbetween I grew up in Louisville so I have kinda ruled that out probably somewhere rural maybe on some property.

So you have not indicated things that made Iowa was so much better for you than Kentucky. If you posted what you really loved about Iowa I’m sure some of the Kentuckians could chime in and help with the great spot for you to live.

Iowa ranks 6th in the country in Education. he said 30 years ago, maybe he was referring to his kids.

I’m sure I will find something in Ky. love the summers here in Iowa compared to Ky
and there is good people everywhere but there is just something about the folks in the Midwest. I love chasing those big Iowa white tails with a bow during the rut and not to mention I had a little slice of heaven I was very blessed as you can see.
